Privacy policy

That data that is collected through the website’s forms or other methods will undergo personal data processing, of which Fernando González León / Urb. Orotava 15, 3ºA (hereinafter GEOSMINA) is the controller. This personal data is collected through newsletters subscriptions from our corporate group, partner websites, contact and data collection forms in any of our corporate group’s websites, or because the USER or CUSTOMER has expressly requested information or provided their data over the phone.

The data will only be used occasionally to establish the CUSTOMER/COMPANY relationship. GEOSMINA does not sell, lease or make the personal data of users available to third parties. Personal data is collected so as to properly identify users who request personalized services from GEOSMINA as well as to perform sales and marketing tasks aimed at meeting the potential demand.

This entity will process the data in a confidential manner and exclusively for the purpose of offering the requested services, with all the legal and security guarantees specified in the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016; Royal Decree 1720/2007 of December 21; and Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

GEOSMINA will erase or rectify data that is inaccurate, incomplete or no longer necessary or pertinent for the intended purpose, as per the GDPR 679/2016 of April 27 on Personal Data Protection.

The USER may revoke their consent and exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, deletion (right to be forgotten) and restriction of portability by sending an e-mail to info@geosminacomponents.com, specifying their name, surnames and DNI identification number along with the right to be exercised.

If at any time the USER decides to no longer receive e-mail messages, they may exercise their right of erasure and renounce receiving them by clicking on the link established for this purpose in every message, as per Title III, Article 22 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and e-Commerce.

GEOSMINA adopts the corresponding security levels specified by the aforementioned GDPR 679/2016 and other applicable legislation. However, it cannot guarantee the complete security of the systems and is therefore not liable for damage resulting from alterations made by third parties to the computer systems, electronic documents or user files. If the user chooses to leave our website through links to websites that are not owned by our entity, GEOSMINA is not liable for the privacy policies of those websites or for the cookies they may store on the user’s computer. GEOSMINA reserves the right to amend this policy to adapt it to legislative or jurisprudential changes as well as to industry and/or business practices. In these instances, GEOSMINA will announce the corresponding changes in this page.
